Regular Season Round 27: Liaoning - Hebei 74-48

There was a minor upset in Anshan where 11th ranked Hebei (12-15) was rolled over by thirteenth ranked Liaoning Hengye (9-18) 74-48 on Monday. Liaoning Hengye outrebounded Hebei 45-30 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Jinqiu Fu (188-95) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Jiamei Liang (182-92) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Liaoning Hengye players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Yu Fu (190-94) who recorded 15 points and Taiwanese Ping-Jen Huang (178-89) added 12 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hengye maintains thirteenth place with 9-18 record. Newly promoted Hebei keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Liaoning Hengye will face higher ranked Henan Phoenix (#6) in Jiyuan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
