The game in Warszawa was quite interesting. Second ranked Stelmet Enea BC (12-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Legia (7-6). Stelmet Enea BC did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 76-59 on Wednesday. Stelmet Enea BC made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Stelmet Enea BC outrebounded Legia 39-22 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American guard Gabe DeVoe (190-95, college: Clemson) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side American swingman Omar Prewitt (201-94, college: William & Mary) responded with 15 points and British swingman Morayo Soluade (196-95) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stelmet Enea BC keeps a position of league leader. Legia at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Stelmet Enea BC are looking forward to face Miasto Szkla (#15) in Krosno in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Legia will play on the road against GTK (#12) in Gliwice and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
