We should mention about the upset which took place in Shanghai, where higher ranked Sharks (16-11) lost at home to eleventh ranked Jilin Tigers (12-14) 109-122. Jilin Tigers outrebounded Sharks 47-29 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The winners were led by American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 12 assists and Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) supported him with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Even 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws) by American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) did not help to save the game for Sharks. Argentinian-Spanish power forward Luis Scola (206-80) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Five Jilin Tigers and four Sharks players scored in double figures. Sharks' coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Jilin Tigers moved-up to tenth place. Sharks lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Jilin Tigers' next round opponent will be Golden Bulls (#12) in Hangzhou.
