Third ranked Lenadores (14-9) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Abejas (11-14) 84-82 on Thursday evening. Lenadores made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) scored 28 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American-Puerto Rican Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St.) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. American power forward Yancy Gates (206-89, college: Cincinnati) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Michael Smith (193-95, college: Cal.Baptist) scored 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field).
