No shocking result in a game in Madrid where third ranked RETAbet BB (12-4) defeated 11th ranked Real Canoe (7-9) 81-64 on Friday. Power forward Ivan Cruz-Uceda (208-91, college: Miami, FL) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Danish center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: G.Washington) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four RETAbet BB players scored in double figures. RETAbet BB's coach Alex Mumbru used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jose-Miguel Perez (202-96) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and forward Ander Martinez (199-95, agency: Duran International) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. RETAbet BB moved-up to second place, which they share with Huesca. Newly promoted Real Canoe dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. RETAbet BB will face Barca II (#16) in Barcelona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Real Canoe will play on the road against Caceres Basket (#17) and hope to win that game.
