No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Dafni Agioy (5-3) beat 10th ranked Athinaikos (2-6) in Athens 65-60 on Saturday. Dafni Agioy looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Oderah Chidom (193-95, college: Duke) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import forward KeShunan James (184-94, college: Murray St.) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Stephanie Kostowicz (188-95, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee, agency: Interperformances) replied with 27 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Zafeira Giampani (184-92) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Athinaikos. Dafni Agioy moved-up to third place, which they share with Panionios and PAOK. Athinaikos lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Dafni Agioy will face Niki Lefkadas (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Athinaikos will play against PAOK in Thessaloniki and hope to win that game.
