There was a change at the Serie A2 leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Team Crema (11-3). They were defeated by sixth ranked Udine (8-5) 65-59 on Saturday night. Udine made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game, while Team Crema only scored eight points from the stripe. Point guard Carlotta Rainis (174-97) scored 18 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Slovenian power forward Ana Ljubenovic (185-88) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. Guard Francesca Melchiori (174-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Alice Nori (182-93) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds.
