Not a big story in a game in Athens where 10th ranked Panionios (3-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Promitheas (8-4) 74-60 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Langston Hall (193-91, college: Mercer, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 17 points and 6 assists. International Leonidas Kaselakis (202-90) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Promitheas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) who recorded 20 points and his fellow American import forward Darnell Harris (203-92, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Promitheas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with AEK. Loser Panionios keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Aris. Promitheas will meet at home league's second-placed Olympiacos in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Panionios will play against Holargos (#7) and hope to secure a win.
