The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Hapoel Holon as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Hapoel Holon defeated 10th ranked Maccabi Ashdod at home 88-84. Maccabi Ashdod at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will play next round against Bnei Hasharon trying to get back on the winning streak.
