No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Dragons (12-17) beat on the road bottom-ranked Wuhan (1-28) 86-77. Jiayu Liu stepped up and scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center Liqing Cao (195-92) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Dragons players scored in double figures. American power forward Amber Harris (195-88, college: Xavier) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and forward Jing Fu (180-96) scored 19 points. Dragons moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Hebei. Wuhan lost their twenty second game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 28 lost games. Dragons will play against higher ranked Sports Lottery (#6) in Penglai in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wuhan will play at home against Liaoning Hengye (#13) to get more than just one victory in their record.
