Regular Season Round 20: Nova Ves - Zilina 96-83

The game with biggest difference of round 20 in SBL was host Nova Ves' (7-11) victory at home over 4th ranked Zilina (11-7) 96-83 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Zilina. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Joe Rocca (193, college: Carleton) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Matej Majercak (183-99) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Traevon Jackson (192, college: Wisconsin) produced 22 points and his fellow American import forward Deandre Dickson (206, college: W.Washington) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Nova Ves moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rieker KN. Zilina at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Nova Ves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zilina will play at home against Iskra Svit (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
