Very predictable result when sixth ranked Lucca (7-5) won against on the road bottom-ranked Empoli (1-11) 76-62 on Sunday. They outrebounded Empoli 52-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American power forward Bashaara Graves (188-94, college: Tennessee) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) supported her with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lucca players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by Czech center Klara Pochobradska (186-89, agency: SPORTlab Agency) did not help to save the game for Empoli. American power forward Erin Mathias (193-95, college: Duke) added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Lucca have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Napoli.
