Very predictable result when first ranked Chiba Jets (26-5) won against on the road 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-25) 97-89 on Sunday. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a very good performance for naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Marqus Blakely (201-88, college: Vermont) answered with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Shiga L-Stars.
