Regular Season Round 15: Obradoiro - Andorra 69-68

There was a surprise result in Santiago de Comp where fifteenth ranked Blusens Monbus (6-9) edged higher ranked Andorra (6-9) 69-68 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Andorra won third quarter 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Kyle Singler (203-88, college: Duke) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. International center Nacho Llovet (202-91) helped adding 12 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard David Walker (197-93, college: Northeastern) with 14 points and Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Blusens Monbus moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Andorra and Burgos. Blusens Monbus will face Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#17) in Madrid in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
