Seventeenth-ranked Caceres Basket (4-13) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked CB Granada (9-7). CB Granada managed to secure only three-point victory 67-64. However their fans expected much easier game. CB Granada outrebounded Caceres Basket 45-24 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Caceres Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by point guard Josep Perez (184-94) who scored that evening 11 points and 4 assists and naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) supported him with 14 points. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by center Victor Serrano (211-89) did not help to save the game for Caceres Basket. Point guard Guillermo Corrales (180-95) added 11 points and 4 assists for lost side.
