Regular Season Round 12: Thor Thorl - Tindastoll 98-90

There was a change at the Dominos League leadership position after last games. Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Tindastoll (10-2). They were defeated by sixth ranked Thor Thorl (6-6) 98-90 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Tindastoll. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 49-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Thor Thorl looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kinu Rochford (200-90, college: Fair Dickinson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Slovenian forward Jaka Brodnik (203-92, agency: PEPI SPORT) who added 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Urald King (198-90, college: SE Oklahoma) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian guard Dino Butorac (191-90) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tindastoll's coach Israel Martin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Thor Thorl maintains sixth position with 6-6 record, which they share with Grindavik. Tindastoll at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Njardvik. Tindastoll will play next round against Valur trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Thor Thorl will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Njardvik on the road.
