There was no surprise when 17th ranked Rosmini D. (1-14) was edged by ninth ranked LTC Sangiorg. (9-6) in Domodossola 87-84 on Sunday. It was a good game for Guido Scali (196-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Eugenio Rota (174-99, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. LTC Sangiorg.'s coach Daniele Quilici used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Andrea Tommei (180-91) answered with 27 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Patrick Avanzini (195-96) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rosmini D.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
