Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Holon (8-4) defeated at home 8th ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-8) 82-71 on Monday. Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Loryn Goodwin (175-94, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Kaela Davis (188-95, college: S.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Drew Edelman (193, college: UCSB) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Five Holon and four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Holon have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Petah Tikva and Ramat Hen. Loser Ramat Hasharon keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Raanana. Holon will meet at home league's leader Ramla in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ramat Hasharon will play against Maccabi Ramat Gan (#3) and hope to secure a win.
