Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo: Nacional (#1) and Trouville (#8). Trouville was defeated at home 67-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trouville. Naturalized Spanish center Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 20 points. Four Nacional players scored in double figures. Nacional's coach Gonzalo Fernandez used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) responded with 19 points and the other American import center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Nacional have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-4 record. Loser Trouville dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Nacional's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Hebraica.
