An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Mexico. First ranked Capitanes faced 3rd ranked Lenadores. Host Capitanes (17-9) defeated guests from (15-10) 105-94. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Lenadores. Capitanes players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Hector Hernandez (205-85, college: Fresno St., agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) replied with 22 points and 6 assists and American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Lenadores. Four Capitanes and five Lenadores players scored in double figures. Capitanes maintains first position with 17-9 record. Newly promoted Lenadores keep the third place with ten games lost. They share the position with Aaguacateros. Capitanes will again play against Lenadores (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lenadores will have a break next round.
