Very expected game in Hangzhou where 19th ranked Fly Dragons (7-23) were rolled over by fourth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (22-7) 125-77 on Tuesday. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Fly Dragons' 42. They outrebounded Fly Dragons 56-29 including a 41-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Fly Dragons' players. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. International center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. American Thomas Robinson (208-91, college: Kansas) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Zhang Fan (194-96) added 15 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. They maintain fourth place with 22-7 record. Fly Dragons lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the nineteenth position with 23 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face bottom-ranked Bayi Rockets (#20) in Ningbo in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Fly Dragons will play on the road against Long-Lions in Guangzhou and hope to win that game.
