Regular Season Round 13: Grodno-93 - COR-Borisfen 71-108

The game between Top Four teams took place in Grodno. 3rd placed host Grodno-93 (12-2) was smashed by second ranked COR-Borisfen (13-2) 108-71. Ukrainian power forward Oleksandr Tishchenko (205-89, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Ukrainian forward Ivan Kalyaev (200-87) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Grodno-93 in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for COR-Borisfen. They maintain second place with 13-2 record behind leader Tsmoki-Minsk. Grodno-93 at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. COR-Borisfen will play against Impuls BGUIR (#6) in Minsk in the next round. Grodno-93 will play on the road against Rubon in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
