The most shocking disappointment of round 21 in the Korisliiga was a road defeat of 5th ranked BC Nokia (10-11) by eighth ranked Helsinki Seagulls (8-10) who outscored them by 15 points 88-73. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-73. Helsinki Seagulls forced 21 BC Nokia turnovers. American swingman Wayne Blackshear (196-92, college: Louisville, agency: Inception Sports) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Jalen Jackson (198-94, college: UALR) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds.
