Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Mogi (11-4) defeated on the road 12th ranked Joinville (4-10) 90-84. Mogi dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Joinville's 38. They outrebounded Joinville 45-25 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mogi players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Joinville's players. 26 personal fouls committed by Joinville helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
