There was a minor upset when higher ranked SPO Rouen (6-7) was outscored on the road by thirteenth ranked Poitiers (6-7) 81-62 on Friday. Poitiers forced 19 SPO Rouen turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for Kevin Harley (196-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Arnauld Thinon (178-87) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Poitiers' coach Ruddy Nelhomme used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Liberian guard Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: Connecticut) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Jamar Diggs (190-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for SPO Rouen. Poitiers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated SPO Rouen. Poitiers will face ADA Blois (#11) at home in the next round.
