Very predictable result when fifth ranked Amyntas Dafnis (9-4) won against on the road 10th ranked Koroivos (5-8) 70-63 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for forward Spyros Diamantopoulos (196-83) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Point guard Leonidas Zoupas (185-82) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Amyntas Dafnis' coach Alexis Zavos used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Naturalized German forward Dimitris Cheilaris (206-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Latvian point guard Toms Leimanis (190-94) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Koroivos. Amyntas Dafnis moved-up to third place, which they share with Ermis Agias. Koroivos lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Amyntas Dafnis will face league's leader Iraklis in Thessaloniki in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Koroivos will play on the road against Ethnikos (#16) in Pireus and hope to win that game.
