Regular Season Round 18: Feurs EF - Orchies 59-76

There was no surprise in Orchies where 8th ranked Feurs EF (8-10) was defeated by third ranked Orchesien BC (12-6) 76-59 on Saturday. Orchesien BC outrebounded Feurs EF 43-27 including 33 on the defensive glass. Feurs EF was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Giedrius Staniulis (205-91) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jeremy Ricard-Dorigo (200-94) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Orchesien BC's coach Jimmy Ploegaerts used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Momar Ndoye (200-95) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Louis Prolhac (175-91) added 4 points and 6 assists respectively. Orchesien BC have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group A with 12-6 record having just one point less than leader Challans. Feurs EF lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Orchesien BC will face Saint Vallier (#4) on the road in the next round. Feurs EF will play against Sorgues BC (#255) and hope to win that game.
