Everything could happen in San Sebastian at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Univ.Valladolid and 11th ranked Easo had identical 3-8 record. But Easo was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Valladolid 77-69 on Saturday night. It was a very good performance for power forward Alvaro Encinas (202-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Easo's coach Gotzon Arrieta let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Univ.Valladolid (4-8) moved-up to tenth place in Group A-A, which they share with Goierri. Easo lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Univ.Valladolid will face higher ranked Valle de Egues (#6) in Olaz in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Easo will play on the road against Ordizia-Basoa (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
