There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Kalmar (4-7) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Huddinge (2-8) 123-119 on Saturday. Huddinge forced 20 Kalmar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Nassim Mrabty (-99) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Margad Otgonbaatar chipped in 25 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side Slovenian Jan Tratnik (190-89) responded with a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals and Johan Melin (-89) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Huddinge maintains eighth place with 2-8 record. Kalmar lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
