Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Coin (7-5) rolled over at home 8th ranked Novaschool (4-9) 89-68 on Saturday. Coin dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Novaschool's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Novaschool's players. Quite impressive performance for center Chema Del-Rio (203-91) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Forward Pablo Ibanez (198-93) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Senegalese center Gora Gueye (212-89) replied with 9 points and 11 rebounds and center Anastasio Vazquez (204-92) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Novaschool. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Coin moved-up to third place in Group D-A. Loser Novaschool keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Coin will face Multiopticas Baza (#6) in Alicante in the next round. Novaschool will play on the road against Andujar and hope to win that game.
