The game with biggest result difference took place in Helsinki. Local Helsinki Seagulls (9-10) outscored 11th ranked UU-Korihait (4-15) 115-79 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Helsinki Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to UU-Korihait's 36. Helsinki Seagulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Jalen Jackson (198-94, college: UALR) fired 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Wayne Blackshear (196-92, college: Louisville, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Forward Brandon Conley (201-93, college: ORU) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Bryan Coleman (198-92, college: Wayne St., MI) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Four UU-Korihait players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Helsinki Seagulls moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kouvot. UU-Korihait lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Helsinki Seagulls is looking forward to face Kouvot (#7) in Kouvola in the next round. UU-Korihait will play at home against Kauhajoki (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
