Regular Season Round 16: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Fos-sur-Mer 83-60

Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked Fos-sur-Mer (2-14) was rolled over on the road by tenth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (8-8) 83-60 on Saturday. Power forward Thibault Daval-Braquet (210-97) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Hugo Pellure (182-99) chipped in 17 points and 7 steals. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Nadjib Benhamza (190-98) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and Bahamas point guard Dominick Bridgewater (180-0) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Fos-sur-Mer players scored in double figures. Pau-Lacq-Orthez have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Chalon. Newly promoted Fos-sur-Mer dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will meet higher ranked Limoges (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fos-sur-Mer will play against Gravelines (#5) and hope to secure a win.
