Date: January 12, 2019
Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Mataro Parc (6-7) was defeated at home by leader Real Celta Vigo (13-0) 75-63 on Saturday. American guard Adrienne Motley (175-95, college: Miami, FL) fired 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Anne Senosiain (162-97) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Four Real Celta Vigo players scored in double figures. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Real Celta Vigo. They maintain first place in Group A with 13-0 record. Mataro Parc lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Real Celta Vigo will face Cortegada (#6) in Vilagarcia Arousa in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mataro Parc will play at home against Arxil Pontevedra and hope to win that game.
