1Liga top team - Slask (13-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Pruszkow (6-11) in Wroclaw 90-76. Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Robert Skibniewski (183-83) chipped in 15 points and 9 assists. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Karol Kaminski (193-97) scored 17 points. Five Slask and four Pruszkow players scored in double figures. Pruszkow's coach Andrzej Kierlewicz rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-3 record. Pruszkow lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. They share it with AZS AGH KR and Polfarmex Kutno. Slask are looking forward to face Polonia Leszno (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pruszkow will play against GKS Tychy (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
