Regular Season Round 16: Stal SW - AZS UMCS Lbn 68-91

Rather expected game in Stalowa Wola where 7th ranked Stal SW (8-8) was crushed by fourth ranked AZS UMCS Lbn (12-5) 91-68 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of center Bartosz Muda (202-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Mateusz Wisniewski (202-91) who added 11 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Five AZS UMCS Lbn players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Cezary Guminski (192-94) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Mateusz Labuda (183-83) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. AZS UMCS Lbn have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group B. Loser Stal SW keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. AZS UMCS Lbn will face Siarka (#13) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal SW will play on the road against Nadarzyn (#12) and hope to win that game.
