Regular Season Round 16: Wisla Krakow - Bielsko-Biala 77-60

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Bielsko-Biala (4-12) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Wisla Krakow (12-4) 77-60 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Wisla Krakow's coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side forward Robert Kozaczka (199-81) responded with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Grzegorz Szybowicz (187-86) scored 4 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Wisla Krakow have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Polonia Bytom. Loser Bielsko-Biala keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Wisla Krakow will face AZS PCz (#7) in Czestochowa in the next round where they are favorite. Bielsko-Biala will play at home against Tarnowskie Gory (#5) and hope to win that game.
