There was a minor upset when 4th ranked Andujar (7-6) lost on the road to seventh ranked Almeria (6-7) 85-81 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for guard Luis Rueda (186-96) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Joaquin Reyes (196-96) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Eugenio Martinez (182-1) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Andujar. Five Almeria and four Andujar players scored in double figures. Almeria maintains seventh position in Group D-A with 6-7 record. Loser Andujar keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Almeria will face Martos (#9) on the road in the next round. Andujar will play against Novaschool (#8) and hope to win that game.
