An interesting game for Koshigaya A. (14-4) which played road game in Aichi against 4th placed Aisin AW (12-6). Second ranked Koshigaya A. managed to get a 10-point victory 74-64. Koshigaya A. made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Luke Evans (203-91, college: Cal.Baptist) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Koshigaya A.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) answered with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Aisin AW. Koshigaya A. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 14-4 record having just three points less than leader Tokyo Excel., which they share with Toyoda Gosei.
