There was no surprise in Krakow where 12th ranked AZS AGH KR (6-11) was outplayed by fourth ranked Enea Astoria (12-5) 84-64 on Sunday. Enea Astoria dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to AZS AGH KR's 24. They outrebounded AZS AGH KR 49-36 including 21 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Lukasz Frackiewicz (205-96) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. Dorian Szyttenholm (193-83, agency: Promotex) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Enea Astoria players scored in double figures. Power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) produced 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Maciej Koperski (191-99) added 21 points respectively for the hosts. AZS AGH KR's coach Wojciech Bychawski tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Enea Astoria moved-up to third place, which they share with Polonia Leszno. AZS AGH KR lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Polfarmex Kutno and Pruszkow. Enea Astoria will meet at home Gornik (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS AGH KR will play against WKK Wroclaw and hope to secure a win.
