Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Unia Tarnow (6-10) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tarnowskie Gory (9-7) 77-69 on Sunday. Tarnowskie Gory looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Szymon Podgorski (181-96) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Dawid Weiss (188-88) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) responded with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Unia Tarnow's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tarnowskie Gory moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with MCKiS Jaworz. Unia Tarnow lost fourth consecutive game. Unia Tarnow at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Tarnowskie Gory will face Bielsko-Biala (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Unia Tarnow will play against Dobrodzien and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
