There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Calvia (2-11) beat at home higher ranked Mataro Parc Boet (7-6) 92-83 on Sunday. They outrebounded Mataro Parc Boet 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for power forward Jose-Maria Morales (204-89) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Ivan Matemalas (194-80) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Dutch swingman Raidell De-Pree (198-97, college: Kankakee CC) replied with 19 points and American Nicholas Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Mataro Parc Boet. Four Mataro Parc Boet players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Calvia moved-up to thirteenth place in Group C-A. Mataro Parc Boet lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Calvia will face Salt (#14) on the road in the next round.
