There was no surprise when 13th ranked Teramo (4-11) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Ancona Luciana (7-7) 91-85 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Simone Centanni (187-91, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Valerio Polonara (202-84) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Simone Aromando (200-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Matteo Fabi (188-91) scored 28 points. Four Teramo players scored in double figures. Ancona Luciana moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Teramo keeps the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Ancona Luciana will face higher ranked Chieti (#7) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Teramo will play against the league's second-placed Pescara (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
