Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maccabi Ashdod maintains ninth position with 4-8 record. Bnei Hasharon lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with H.Tel-Aviv. Maccabi Ashdod will meet higher ranked Rishon (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bnei Hasharon will play against Hapoel Eilat (#4) and hope to secure a win.
