There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Caceres (2-10) lost at home to bottom-ranked San Fernando (1-14) 66-56 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for center Javier Casermeiro (197-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Sergio Otero contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four San Fernando players scored in double figures. Guard Cayetano Abreu (188-0) replied with 16 points and center Roberto Cubero (208-99) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Caceres. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted San Fernando maintains tenth position in Group D-B with 1-14 record. It was Caceres' third loss in a row. Caceres at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. San Fernando will face league's second-placed Benahavis on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
