We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tarnowo Podgorne where 12th ranked Trefl II Sopot (3-11) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Tarnovia (3-12) 94-78 on Sunday. Tarnovia dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Trefl II Sopot's 36 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Tarnovia forced 20 Trefl II Sopot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Milosz Sroczynski (195-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Bartlomiej Gubernat (185-94) who added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Sebastian Walda (195-0) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Mateusz Zozun (202-0) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Tarnovia maintains thirteenth position in Group A with 3-12 record. Loser Trefl II Sopot dropped to the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Tarnovia will have a break next round.
