Regular Season Round 16: Dziki Wwa - KK Warszawa 90-75

There was an upset when higher ranked KK Warszawa (9-8) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Dziki Wwa (8-8) 90-75 on Sunday. Dziki Wwa looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Dziki Wwa's coach Piotr Bakun used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side swingman Michal Wojtynski (193-89) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and center Krystian Kozluk (205-94) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dziki Wwa moved-up to seventh place in Group B, which they share with Hutnik W-wa and Stal SW. Loser KK Warszawa dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Dziki Wwa will face league's second-placed Tur Bielsk Pdl. in Bielsk Podlaski in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
