Regular Season Round 12: Mursa - Split 51-105

Prva Liga top team - ZKK Split (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Mursa (1-11) in Osijek 105-51. The game without a history. ZKK Split led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. ZKK Split outrebounded Mursa 54-30 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Mursa's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of international guard Tea Buzov (176-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Bosnian center Tea Peric (187-99) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five ZKK Split players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Petra Simunic (-93) with 13 points and Magdalena Mihaljevic (-3) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ZKK Split have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. Mursa lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Pozega. ZKK Split are looking forward to face league's second-placed ZKK Medvescak in Zagreb in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mursa will play at home against Tresnjevka (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
