The game in Ostersund was also worth to mention about. Third ranked BC Lulea (17-7) played at the court of 5th ranked KFUM Jamtland (13-11). BC Lulea managed to secure a 4-point victory 99-95. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-14. But KFUM Jamtland won second period 34-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BC Lulea won last quarter 26-24. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Thomas Massamba (183-85) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). International forward Denzel Andersson (203-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five BC Lulea players scored in double figures. American guard Teyvon Myers (188-94, college: W.Virginia) produced 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and international point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) added 31 points respectively for the hosts. KFUM Jamtland's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. BC Lulea maintains third place with 17-7 record having just two points less than leader Sodertalje. KFUM Jamtland lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 11 games lost. BC Lulea will have a break next round. KFUM Jamtland will play on the road against Koping Stars (#8) and hope to win that game.
