Not a big story in a game in Hengshui where 12th ranked Hebei (12-21) was defeated by second ranked Bayi Kylin (30-3) 108-102. Bayi Kylin outrebounded Hebei 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Hebei's players. It was a good game for the former international swingman Jiabao Jin (184-93) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 6 assists. Center Zhenqi Pan (190-95) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Bayi Kylin players scored in double figures. Bayi Kylin's coach Shuping Zhan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Huan Huan (185-90) answered with 42 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Siyue Qiu (177-91) added 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hebei. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Bayi Kylin. They maintain second place with 30-3 record behind leader Guangdong. Hebei lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 21 games lost. Bayi Kylin's next round opponent will be Henan Phoenix (#9) in Jiyuan and are hoping to win another game. Hebei will play on the road against Fujian Nanan in Putian and hope to win that game.
