Rather expected game in Penglai where 8th ranked Flame (18-15) was defeated by sixth ranked Sports Lottery (22-11) 90-86. Sports Lottery made 27-of-31 charity shots (87.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Flame turnovers. Strangely Flame outrebounded Sports Lottery 44-21 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Flame helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: ProDep Management) who led her team to a victory with 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). International guard Siyu Wang (175-95) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Point guard Tongtong Wu (176) answered with a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists and the former international center Wei Wei (206-89) added 18 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Flame. Five Flame players scored in double figures. Sports Lottery maintains sixth place with 22-11 record. Flame at the other side keeps the eighth position with 15 games lost. Sports Lottery's next round opponent will be Swordfish (#7) in Shanghai. Flame will play at home against Beijing Great Wall and hope to win that game.
